Hey thanks for friending me. I have a few questions about some stocks I am thinking about investing in. Is there anyway we can chat on here?

Hey, does scottrade take the $7 after the funds are settled on the 3rd day?

Good Question! Scottrade will subtract the $7 commission from the proceeds of the sale.

Totally!
$7 fee, extra pennies - April 21, 2009
I have noticed that the $7 fee is taken at the time of the trade, added to the cost of the stock. But I have also seen a cent here, two cents there, when a trade is split among several buyers. Can you tell me what that is all about?

Hey, thanks for the add, I just wanted to ask you if you had any advice for the newbies? And secondly, on how you feel about B.J. Raji? lol
List of buy and sell orders on stock - July 8, 2009
Your photo indicates you are a scottrade representive. I got a question if you can help. Why can't we see the list of orders of buy and sell requests on a particular stock? It would help a fairly new investor on scottrade to see if they are more sell orders or buy orders and at what price.... We only get the last top sell or buy order? Seems this is a disadvantage for a new investor. One day soon I may be at the elite level but I am not there yet. It isn't fair do you think to let people with big money see all the buy and sell orders out there. This might be a good change to the scottrade platform etc. If there are a lot more sell orders out there it could indicate the price of the stock is probably going to go down or if there a lot more buy orders it could indicate the stock price is going to go up etc...... Any comment?
